Finished Dolls   Click for full size Image Click to change Image SOLD #457  St. Nick with Pinecone Ornament This doll was made using my 'St. Nick' pattern. He measures 19" tall & is holding a homemade gingerbread pincecone ornament.  I used a gold/maroon tapestry for his outfit & and a tea-stained shaggy felt for his fur trim. Her skirt is a green Meme's quilts homespun with a contrasting tan print bodice. Her loons are from a tan striped brushed cotton homespun. She has button eyes & a wool felt nose. Her hair is a super bulky woolspun. Her outfit is made from Meme's Quilts fabrics. She has 1/4" button eyes & a stitched nose. Her hair is a primitive red linen thread which as been sewn to the seam of her head. Her bear is made from loopy fur. He has not been attached to the doll so you can display this set however you like. Click on image to enlarge SOLD #158  Christmas Cheer Annie This doll was made using my 'Sew Many Sunflowers' pattern. She measures 17" tall & is holding 2 spiced dough candy canes (from my 'Twiggy's Treats' pattern). I used a knit maroon fabric for her hat, dress & loons. The dress & hat is trimmed with off-white shaggy fur. Her hat is slightly stuffed is bendable so you can position it however you like. A large rusty vintage bell was attached to the tip of the hat. I used a wool/mohair yarn for her hair & buttons for her eyes. The nose was handstitched using embroidery floss. The candy canes were hand made by me...:) They have embellished with ming pine, pip berries & a rusty vintage bell. There is also a light sprinkling of snow flurries on the canes. Click on either image to enlarge SOLD #161  Huggable Heart Annie doll This 21" doll is made from my latest pattern 'Huggable Heart Annie'. I used Moda brushed cotton fabrics for her dress & osnaburg for her loons. Her hair is a primitive red linen thread which is a coarse, slightly frayed natural fiber thread. This gives her hair lots of body & the coarse texture pretty much locks the hairs in place. The same thread was used to stitch her nose. She has 3/16" button eyes & stitched facial features. The heart is made from a dusty rose wool felt. The edges have been snipped to create a fringe. The heart was finished off with a light sprinkling of Mica flakes. The doll, her clothing & heart have all been coffee stained to achieve that wonderful prim look we all know & love...:) I've also given you 2 options for displaying your set...the doll has a weighted bottom...so she will sit nicely for you on a shelf or chair OR if you prefer to display your doll hanging on a wall, no problem, I've attached a loop on the back of her neck just for that purpose. She is very small... measuring only 11" tall. She is made from tea stained muslin. I used a heavily stained pink pucker fabric for her dress. Her loons & wings are osnaburg which have been embellished with a beautiful hand embroidered design. She has button eyes & a stitched nose. Her hair is a red embriodery floss that has been stitched around the seam of her head. She's also wearing a cute little rusty tin heart necklace.
